Focal neurological problems
Depending on the location of the tumor in the brain, symptoms and complaints may occur.
Specific symptoms depending on the location of the tumor
- loss of balance or coordination
- altered judgment, loss of initiative
- partial or total loss of vision
- speech difficulties, hearing and memory problems, emotional changes, such as aggression
- altered perception of touch
- unexplained breast milk discharge, menstrual irregularities, growth of hands and feet in adulthood
- difficulty swallowing, numbness in the face, double vision
Note that these symptoms are not specific to brain tumors. They can indicate other, often benign, health problems. If you notice one or more of these abnormalities, if they persist or recur, don't hesitate to consult your doctor.
