Who are we?

Who are we?
The Brain Tumor Working Group (vzw) is a patient-focused organization with a multi-professional structure. It provides information to everyone affected by brain tumors. Our group consists of patients and their families, as well as healthcare providers in the broadest sense of the word. We collaborate with general practitioners, specialist physicians, paramedics, psychologists, social workers, legal advisors, and others. The accuracy of our information is guaranteed by our scientific steering committee, chaired by Prof. Dr. Paul Meijnders. Prof. Meijnders is a radiation oncologist at the Antwerp Hospital Network (ZAS Augustinus and ZAS Palfijn), as well as at the Antwerp University Hospital.
