Nausea and dizziness

Morning sickness and not pregnant???

Nausea, especially in the morning, is a common symptom of brain tumors, but also of other conditions. You may also feel dizzy, a sensation similar to being drunk without having consumed a drop of alcohol. It's rare for these to be the only symptoms of a brain tumor you experience.

Nausea can be caused by increased pressure within the skull. The skull is a closed box. When there's an increase in volume, for example, due to a tumor, the pressure increases.

The dizziness can also be caused by the location of the tumor in the brain.

Most causes of dizziness are not due to a brain tumor and are therefore not the first diagnosis doctors consider. Below, you can find more information about dizziness symptoms and their causes. It is therefore definitely advisable to contact your doctor first if you experience these types of symptoms.
